A global market leading manufacturer of specialist catering equipment sold to the Hospital and Healthcare market is looking for an experienced Area Sales and Support Manager to inherit existing accounts and grow new business across the Hospital sector in the north of England and Scotland. The business is committed to delivering first rate service and support to their customers to ensure that they receive the best training and achieve the best results from the equipment solutions. 

 

The Role

•    The Area Sales and Support Manager will be covering Northern England and Scotland
•    Promotion of the range of catering equipment products to clients in the Hospital, Healthcare and Institutional sectors
•    Establish and build strong professional relationships with clients
•    Grow sales through effective call planning and regular client visits
•    Maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring that you are talking to the key decision makers
•    Attendance at trade shows and industry events as well as membership of the relevant trade associations.

​•    Ongoing customer support during product installations, ongoing and refresher training on equipment ranges​.

 

The Person

•    Must have worked in Area Sales and sold products (ideally catering equipment or related) to clients within the Hospital/Institutional catering sector
•    Proven track record of success in an Area Sales role
•    Excellent journey-planning and time-management skills
•    Flexibility to travel and stay away as required
•    Strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative
•    Accountable and self-motivated
•    Good team player and excellent communication with colleagues and management.​
