£35,000 - £45,000 basic, OTE £55,000, company car, private medical, excellent pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The Role

The role requires a well-organised, customer-orientated salesperson who can effectively manage and prioritise opportunities across a defined territory. 

 

  • Manage the distributor network across your area building strong relationships, delivering regular product training and support.

  • Regular interaction with end users to promote and demonstrate the full product range, gaining specification and assisting nominated partners with quotations for small projects. 

  • Target and win new business as well as identifying gaps and driving growth within existing accounts.

  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and colleagues. 

  • Effectively map your sales landscape and manage your diary to drive maximum efficiencies. Maintain good activity records and adopt a 3-month sales cycle to harness all opportunities. 

  • Ensure that each meeting has a clear objective and follow up with customers to summarise follow-up actions and plan future requirements.

  • Carry out accurate site surveys and prepare designs/proposals for medium-sized projects (full training will be provided if required).

 

The Person

  • We are looking for a motivated and well organised salesperson with a growth mindset and an open and curious mind -someone who enjoys identifying and following up sales opportunities. 

  • Ideally you will have sold to the Foodservice or HoReCa channels and will have an interest and understanding in the world of Catering and Hospitality. 

  • Proven experience in a field sales role with good territory management and the ability to qualify, prospect and convert sales leads.

  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently, make decisions and take appropriate actions within agreed business frameworks. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with distributor customers and end user prospects. Able to ask open questions, listen well and identify needs.
