£35,000 - £45,000 basic + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance / Company Vehicle

The Role

An established catering equipment dealer, supplying high-quality commercial kitchen equipment and solutions to restaurants, hotels, caterers, schools, and hospitality venues. With a strong reputation for service, product expertise, and reliable delivery, they support clients in designing, supplying, and maintaining professional kitchen environments.

The Role

We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to expand our customer base, manage and grow existing accounts and drive new sales opportunities. This role focuses on taking on and converting hot leads, identifying new clients, building relationships with hospitality operators, and promoting a range of catering equipment and kitchen solutions.

You will play a key role in developing sales growth while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers across the hospitality and foodservice sectors.

  • Key responsibilities include:

  • Act on warm leads to qualify and expand on all sales opportunities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality and foodservice sector

  • Build relationships with restaurants, hotels, cafés, caterers, and contract caterers

  • Promote and sell commercial catering equipment and kitchen solutions

  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand customer requirements

  • Prepare quotations and proposals in collaboration with the internal sales team

  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and suppliers to deliver solutions

  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and meeting revenue targets

  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities

  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and new products

  • Develop existing client relationships

The Person

You will be a motivated and target-driven sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and experience within a relevant sector.

Key skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management

  • Experience in commercial catering equipment, foodservice, or hospitality supply (highly desirable)

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven approach

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage your own pipeline and territory

  • Full UK driving licence
