Salary:

£45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience plus bonus plus benefits

Our client is a supplier of premium beverages sold to the HoReCa sector, they are one of the UK’s leading suppliers to London’s 5* Hospitality and Fine Dining market and have secured long-standing relationships with many of the country’s most prestigious addresses. This has been achieved through their dedication -to quality, sustainability, corporate responsibility and most of all, to their customers, who they work with consultatively to bring them bespoke products that match and enhance their brands.

The Role

Following continued growth and promotion, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to focus primarily on the luxury London Foodservice & Hospitality sector.

 

  • Drive new business sales opportunities through effective networking, relationship building, active engagement with potential customers, negotiating, and closing deals.

  • Maintain high levels of prospecting activity to grow the sales pipeline consistently.

  • Oversee successful onboarding of new accounts with support from the office team.

  • Identification of new routes to market 

  • Inherit and manage existing accounts, as well as conducting a gap analysis to devise and implement a growth strategy. 

  • Relationship management with key partners/partner brands from the wider industry

  • Delivering training to your clients to ensure that they can maximise the benefits the products can offer to their customers.

  • Organise specialist, high-quality training with external partners.

  • Active across social media channels with updates, articles, engagement content etc.

  • Maintain a passion for the sector and be aware of key trends, movement of key personnel, openings, refurbs, etc.

  • Relationship management with key partners/partner brands from the wider industry - e.g. equipment and service providers.

  • Liaise with colleagues with any ideas for brand partnerships and marketing support

  • Develop & maintain excellent knowledge of F&B procurement systems. 

  • Maximise use of internal systems to maintain up-to-date customer contact details.  

 

 

The Person

​This varied role will allow you to work and grow long-standing relationships with a wide network of people across some of the country’s most prestigious hospitality businesses. Passion and interest in the sector and a flair for networking, creating enduring contacts, and excelling in consultative solution sales will help you succeed in this role. 


We are ideally looking for a candidate who can demonstrate excellence in the following: 

  • Communication -verbal, written and presenting.

  • Relationship building and customer service.

  • Negotiation and commercial awareness.

  • HoReCa -passion, interest and knowledge, particularly within the high-end/prestige channels.

  • A proven track record of success (ideally within field sales and business development). 

  • Flexibility of approach and able to adapt to a fast-moving business environment.

  • The ability to pitch a compelling value proposition, negotiate deals and maintain long-term client relationships, including regular follow-ups and support with prospective customers.

  • The ability to map out your ‘sales landscape’ using research and analysis to evaluate customer needs and sales opportunities. 

  • A shared passion for the business story and brand, its aims and objectives and its place within the UK HoReCa sector.
