The Role
The Company
Our client is a young and rapidly growing supplier of equipment and services to the Foodservice & Hospitality sector. They are an SME who in the last decade has established themselves as a highly skilled and professional team of experts delivering full design, installation and servicing of commercial kitchens. They are a go-to supplier for clients in all areas of the Foodservice sector across the North of England.
The Job
This is an excellent opportunity to join this fast-growing team and have a direct impact on the ongoing growth of the business. Responsibilities include:

Driving sales across the northern region (M62 corridor) by following up on incoming leads as well as directly targeting new business.

Sales of commercial Catering Equipment as well as complete commercial kitchen schemes.

Liaising with the design and project management teams to ensure the smooth delivery of projects, maintaining excellent communication with the customer at all times.

Targeting Foodservice operators across all segments including hotels, restaurants, cafes, QSR etc.

Consultative selling to ask the right questions and build up an accurate picture of the operator, their offering, the challenges facing them etc. so that you can present a solution to deliver value and meet their needs.

Take an accurate site survey including measurements, details of utilities, building regs or restrictions etc.

Excellent communication with internal colleagues, the customer and suppliers.
The person
We are looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking salesperson who can demonstrate:

Proven experience of selling equipment, products and/or services to the Foodservice and Hospitality sector.

Proven field sales experience with the ability to devise and implement a sales strategy including new business development and account growth.

Design or Project Management experience would be desirable but not essential.

Outgoing and tenacious, not afraid to call on potential customers and build up a picture of their business and needs, understands that ‘no/not now’ does not mean ‘never’.

Professional communicator with excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.

Self-motivated and driven by delivering targets and earning a commission.
