The Company

A well-established and growing business specialising in the installation, servicing and support of commercial beverage equipment across the UK. Working with manufacturers, distributors and operators nationwide, the company provides a complete service solution including installation, preventative maintenance, refurbishment and reactive support.

With a strong reputation for reliability and technical expertise, the business supports customers across a range of sectors including hospitality, retail, leisure and workplace environments.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand within the sector, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and support the next phase of national expansion.

The Role

The key responsibilities of the Senior Business Development Manager include:

Business Development:

Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across a national territory. Proactively generate leads through networking, market research, industry events, and direct outreach.

​

Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan focused on high-potential sectors and accounts. Present tailored solutions that align with client requirements and company offerings.

​

Solution Selling:
Develop a strong understanding of our product and service portfolio, including capital equipment sales, leasing options, rental agreements, maintenance contracts and service packages.

​

Sales Cycle Management:
Manage the full sales process from lead generation through to negotiation and closing. Deliver customised proposals that address client challenges and deliver long-term value.

Revenue Growth:
Work towards ambitious sales targets, building a strong pipeline and contributing to the company’s goal of achieving a £1m run-rate by the end of 2026.

​

Client Relationship Development:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across multiple sectors and position yourself as a trusted advisor to customers.

​

Market Intelligence:
Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities within the coffee, hydration, and beverage equipment sectors.

​

Reporting and CRM Management:
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, track opportunities through CRM systems, and provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights.

​

Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product and service teams to align sales strategies, campaigns, and customer solutions.

​

The Person​

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development or sales

  • Proven track record of winning new business and closing high-value deals

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and large opportunities

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales methodologies

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven

  • Ability to build strong relationships with key decision makers
