The Role
The Company
Our client is an established importer of a range of premium quality Foodservice Equipment brands. They have a longstanding legacy of working with industry leading distributors and consultants to deliver outstanding commercial cooking solutions and are recognised for their excellent service levels, equipment knowledge and world-leading brands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator, ideally with knowledge of the Foodservice Equipment industry to play an integral part in the business. There is scope for progression as this could become a managerial position in future.
The Role
This is an important role in the business and is a key interface between the factory, the business and its customers. Responsibilities include:

Liaising with the factory requesting information on pricing, specifications, lead times, drawings etc. and passing this on to customers.

Following up with customers to ensure that they have all the required information and supplying any further details they need.

To take responsibility for all quotations passing through the office and manage their route so that you are aware of the status of any given quotation at any given time.

Ensure that all quotes are logged on the system and go out on time with the correct documentation and information, obtaining, where necessary the relevant drawings and accompanying information.

Ensuring all quotations are filed correctly, and in a timely manner.

Regular inputting of sales data into the database ensuring that all necessary information is recorded.

Regular liaison with internal colleagues, customers and the factories either by telephone, or e-mail, prioritising messages and passing on information as necessary.

Provide a polite, prompt, and professional telephone response for incoming sales calls, ensuring that all necessary information from a sales enquiry is taken, so that the lead can be qualified, and the Sales Manager has the relevant information to help ensure an effective response.

To type all general correspondence and letters to the required Company standard for the Managing Director as and when necessary.

Acquire, maintain, and develop knowledge of the Company’s products and services.

To be flexible in approach to assist in any other reasonable duties, as required by the Company.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Excellent communication skills, confident dealing with people at all levels -over the phone, in person and via email.

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy and rapidly evolving work schedule.

Proven track record of working in a commercially focused admin role.

Excellent verbal and written language skills with the ability to communicate information accurately and pass on details in a clear and professional way.

Build, maintain and develop strong working relationships.

Excellent attention to detail.

Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks and help colleagues as and when required.

Experience of the Foodservice Equipment industry would be an advantage.
