The Role
This is a newly created role which will support the National Accounts team to deliver continued growth across the Pubs and Hotels segments within the UK. The opportunity has built in progression for a candidate that can demonstrate aptitude and results in this area; based on your success, you could progress to a channel-focused National Account Manager within 12-18 months.
Tasks include (but are not limited to):

Learn the product range and the manufacturing techniques used to become a Product Specialist who can consultatively promote the best solutions for your clients.

Work closely with line managers to identify new target customers within designated segment (Hotels and Pub Co’s)

Establish strong professional relationships with the key account clients.

Engage with National Account level end user groups to promote the range of products with a view to gaining specification.

Closely track National Accounts to ensure that you are aware of any new openings or refurbishments.

Research, target and approach new clients to achieve agreed annual business development sales revenue.

Work with any lapsed clients with a view to re-establishing sales.

Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

Ensure customers are up to date with current marketing literature for existing and new product launches.

Invite clients to the demonstration kitchens in Head Office to showcase the product range and advise on products and recipe development (with support from the culinary team).

Regular internal communication with your line manager to update on activity, with R&D and production to share customer feedback and queries, and with marketing to suggest potential marketing activities.

Attendance and representation at exhibitions, roadshows, trade events etc.

Maintain an interest and awareness of current market trends and continue to build and maintain a strong network.

Work with current national account team to strengthen position of the brand within end user group accounts

Work within other growth sectors as and when required
The Person
We are looking for a candidate with knowledge of and passion for the Foodservice industry, who has experience in field sales and is excellent in front of key customers.
Applicants should demonstrate the following:

2-3 years field or sales experience.

Proven knowledge and understanding of the Hospitality and Foodservice market.

Experience of having presented product solutions to key customers would be an advantage.

Excellent organisation and journey-planning skills with the ability to cover a large geographical territory.

Flexible to travel extensively and stay away from home when required in order to meet and network with your customer base.

Strong self-management skills with a strong work ethic: treats every call as a sales opportunity with clear goals to achieve.

Excellent communicator, both with customers and colleagues.

Personable, professional, and tenacious.

Experience of selling premium equipment solutions.

Well- presented at all times.

CFSP accreditation (Desirable but not essential)

Knowledge of Salesforce (Desirable)

Understanding of Microsoft programmes (Outlook, Power Point, Power BI, Teams)
