National Account Manager  




c£50,000 DOE, OTE to £70,000 plus benefits  

The Role

The Company

A world leading manufacturer of premium commercial Foodservice Equipment. They have an excellent reputation for their high-quality equipment solutions and continuous innovation making them the first choice of many of the best-known Foodservice operators globally. They have achieved impressive growth and are an excellent employer with low staff turnover. Recent promotion has lead to a new opportunity in the National Accounts team.

The Role

This is a varied and enjoyable role which will see you work with some excellent equipment brands and support Key clients across the Foodservice & Hospitality sector. Responsibilities include:

  • Management of an existing portfolio of National Key Accounts and driving further growth through the introduction of new products within the portfolio and creating new sales opportunities.

  • Supporting National Accounts with regular meetings, liaising with culinary teams to provide menu development and delivering equipment presentations/training.

  • Target and acquire new Key and National Account business by introducing new opportunities with the full range of equipment.

  • Quickly establish positive relationships with existing National customers.

  • Gain specification with new Nationals across all equipment brands.

  • Attend exhibitions to promote and represent the business and its brands.

  • Maintain accurate sales reports and records.


The person

  • Proven experience of working in sales of equipment or services to the HoReCa sector.

  • Exposure to selling to Key and National Account clients, we are open to speaking to candidates who are looking to step up into National Accounts as well as experienced NAMs (generous salary offered in line with experience level).

  • Experience of selling high value solutions, asking the right questions and delivering compelling commercial presentations which demonstrate clear value to the client, its brand and its operations.

  • Demonstrable track record of devising and implementing sales growth strategies targeting Key and National Accounts HoReCa clients.

  • Flexible to travel nationally and stay away from home as the role requires.

  • Excellent team player.

  • Culinary experience is beneficial but not essential.
