The Role

The Company

Our client is one of the biggest global manufacturers of commercial catering equipment employing over 2,000 staff across 9 factories and 35 office worldwide. Following exceptional growth the UK business is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and hard-working sales professional to join our team and help drive sales across the UK.

 

The Role

Reporting to the UK Director you will be responsible for: 

  • Delivering sales growth through the national dealer network.

  • Achieving KPI’s for delivering sales, weekly call targets and updating sales information.

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to dealers and end user customers.

  • Consultative selling to key accounts through the dealer network.

  • Maintaining and building relationships with existing dealers.

  • Targeting new dealer relationships and sell in product ranges to their sales teams and help support with customer visits.

  • This is a hybrid role which will be split between home, office and field-based working.

 

Progression, Training and Development

We are planning for the future, so this role has the opportunity of future promotion to recruit and manage a team of territory account managers.  Other training & development opportunities include: 

  • Visit to the European Head Office & factory

  • Continuous on-the-job training via Teams

  • Continuous product development

  • Sales & Management training courses

  • CFSP training course

 

The Candidate

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  • Established experience of working for a manufacturer in the Foodservice Equipment industry and selling through the dealer network.

  • Self-motivated and keen to learn, willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions.

  • Ability to think clearly under pressure, comfortable using your own initiative to solve problems or as part of a team.

  • Excellent administrative & I.T skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships.

  • Excellent timekeeper and reliable.

  • Willingness to work flexibly and keep knowledge and skills up to date.

  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.

  • A team player.

  • Well presented.
