The Role

The Company

A newly created UK-based role with this global manufacturer of a range of equipment products supplied to the Foodservice channel with factories in several worldwide regions. As well as expertly designed and manufactured equipment they offer turnkey project services meaning they can offer the customer a complete solution, managed in full, from cradle to grave. They supply some of the best recognised global QSR and foodservice brands and have won multiple supplier awards for the service and value they provide.

The Role

  • Learn the product range and the bespoke manufacturing offered to become a Product Specialist who can consultatively promote the best solutions for your clients.

  • Work closely with your line manager to identify new target customers within the designated segment.

  • Establish strong professional relationships with the QSR clients.

  • Engage with both Head Office and Franchisee operators developing key relationships and promoting the range of products, growing sales.

  • Closely work with your client base to assist with new openings and refurbishments.

  • Research, target and approach new clients to achieve agreed annual business development sales revenue.

  • Work with any lapsed clients with a view to re-establishing sales.

  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

  • Ensure customers are up to date with current marketing literature for existing and new product launches.

  • Regular internal communication with your line manager to update on activity, with R&D and production to share customer feedback and queries, and with marketing to suggest potential marketing activities.

  • Attendance and representation at exhibitions, roadshows, trade events etc.

  • Maintain an interest and awareness of current market trends and continue to build and maintain a strong network

 

The Person​​

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge of and passion for the Foodservice (and ideally QSR) industry, who has experience in field sales and is excellent in front of key customers.

  • Field sales experience.

  • Proven knowledge and understanding of the Foodservice market, ideally with knowledge of the QSR channel.

  • Experience of having presented product solutions to key customers would also be an advantage.

  • Excellent organisation and journey-planning skills with the ability to cover a large geographical territory.

  • Flexible to travel extensively and stay away from home when required in order to meet and network with your customer base.

  • Strong self-management skills with a strong work ethic: treats every call as a sales opportunity with clear goals to achieve.

  • Excellent communicator, both with customers and colleagues.

  • Personable, professional, and tenacious.

  • Experience of selling premium equipment solutions.

  • Well- presented at all times.

  • Understanding of Microsoft programmes (Outlook, Power Point, Power BI, Teams)
