The Role

The Company

Our client is one of the best recognised names in specialist foodservice equipment globally. They are renowned for leading technology and premium build quality. Their products are sold across the Foodservice, Hospitality and Public sectors via a network of distributors.

The Role

You will be responsible for building and developing sales across an area which takes in the northern home counties, East Anglia and the East Midlands.

  • Become an expert on the product range and be able to consult and advise on the best product for your clients.

  • Take highly accurate site surveys and work with the in-house design team to specify the equipment/suite of products that will deliver optimum results.

  • Work closely with distributors to consult on products and highlight the benefits to their end-user customers.

  • Devise and implement effective territory planning and sales strategy to drive growth through the clients in your area.

  • Nurture and support all sales relationships, updating frequently on ongoing projects and supporting with advice, equipment information and expertise where necessary.

  • Identify opportunities for new business opportunities, secure meetings and close sales.

  • Keep abreast of market trends and challenges in your region and the challenges and opportunities they present.

 

The person

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven track record of selling equipment or products to the HoReCa and/or Public Sector.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and share data.

  • Consultative selling style able to promote high-value products based on the benefits they deliver.

  • Highly organised and able to manage a diverse workload of sales projects at various stages of completion as well as track and progress longer-term sales cycles.

  • Skilled Account Management background with a demonstrable track record of having delivered YOY sales growth across your account base.

  • Technical sales experience/ability would be beneficial, ideally you will have sold medium-heavy duty technical equipment products.
