The Company

Our client is a fast-growing market-leading supplier of a range of tabletop and light equipment sold to the HoReCa sector across Europe. The Role

This brand-new role provides an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to grow and establish themselves and the business within the marketplace.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for:

 

  • Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with existing distributor partners.

  • Expanding the distributor base with new customers and managing this process from first contact.

  • Building an in-depth knowledge of the product range and promoting them with the highest level of expertise across your territory.

  • Maintaining knowledge of competitors and market pricing

  • Maintaining regular contact with your line manager and update on activity.

  • Visiting existing distributors as well as supporting their sales teams across your territory.

  • Proactively engaging with new and existing clients and distributors to identify and help qualify new opportunities across the client base

  • Attending and presenting at various sector-relevant exhibitions & meetings.

  • Developing an awareness and provide feedback of trends within the Horeca sector

  • Liaising with internal departments where necessary to ensure new opportunities and existing clients are managed appropriately.

 

The person

The successful candidate will be:

  • An experienced Sales Manager with knowledge of the HoReCa distribution channel ideally from the manufacturer / importer level.

  • Living within the Territory with a full driving licence and willingness the travel throughout the Territory and to the UK

  • Excellent listening, solution selling, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Be able to work autonomously and take accountability for your own performance.

  • Be keen and passionate about the HoReCa sector, ideally with a focus on Tabletop.

  • Be comfortable dealing with all levels of management both internally & externally.

  • Highly motivated and well organised, with a passion to succeed and the ability to prioritise workloads. The ability to be a self-starter and work independently with little or direct supervision.

  • An accomplished planner with strong organisational skills, excellent diary management with the flexibility to cover a large territory and stay away for home as required.

  • Possess high standards of professionalism and personal ethics.

  • Full business language skill (spoken and written) in English and German is essential, additional language proficiency beneficial but not essential.  Legal right of residency and of employment at their permanent residential address.
