The Role

The Company

Our client is a recognised leader in the design and UK manufacture of a range of products engineered for the Foodservice, Hospitality and Environmental sectors. They have an excellent reputation for developing solutions to meet the needs and demands of these sectors and boast an expert team of design, engineering and manufacturing staff.

The Role

Covering the Midlands and North region, you will be responsible for driving sales through the network of distributors on your area. Duties include:

  • Maintain strong relationships with your clients, developing leads and opportunities for growth of ongoing business as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

  • Have an exceptional customer service focus in creating and maintaining successful working relationships with clients in the territory.

  • Provide market intelligence to marketing and product development teams on competitive products, solutions and activities.

  • Accurately and efficiently maintain information on the company CRM system ensuring accurate project notes and information are updated.

  • 3 days in-field, 2 home-days for planning and admin on average.

  • Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts.

  • Contribute towards Marketing projects and initiatives.

  • Manage sales process and pipeline. Carry out market and client investigation.

The person

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate skills/experience in,

  • Asking for the order -continuity selling and identifying the next opportunity.

  • Building strong professional relationships and striving to support your customers.

  • Communication -able to interact with people at all levels and influence buying decisions.

  • Territory management and planning.

  • Hospitality and Foodservice -an understanding of and passion for the sector.

  • Senior Account Management -experience of dealing with and growing Key and/or National Accounts is desirable.

  • Negotiation and problem-solving, able to overcome hurdles and present a solution to drive a sale.

  • Delivering first-rate customer service and understanding the importance of a positive client experience.


£45,000 basic salary

£16,000 bonus paid quarterly

£6,000 car allowance

25 days holiday
