The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Catering Engineer or Service Manager to become a technical specialist and support technicians and customers in the field. 

• Managing all technical aspects of the Frymaster, Lincoln and Merco brands, providing technical support on the phone, email and site visits.

• Supporting the product, service companies and customers. 

• Design and implementation of technical training for service partners. 

• Acting as the key technical link for sales and spares teams as well as the factories and UK aftersales support. 

• Site visits to carry out or assist in equipment repairs and support customer and product related issues. 

• Hybrid role working 1-2 days in the field with home working and time spent in the head office. Also requires occasional overseas trips in Mainland and Northern Europe to support the EMEA Technical Team as well as occasional factory trips to the US.

The Person

• Must hold a valid gas safe accreditation (CCN1, COMCAT1, COMCAT3 and COMCAT5) 

• Ideally you will be familiar with the Welbilt brands or will have worked with similar in a QSR/Fast Casual Dining environment.

• Experience of working for a Foodservice Equipment manufacturer beneficial. 

• Proven technical management or field service engineering experience gained in the catering equipment industry.

• Competent with electrics.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.

• Good leadership and management skills. 

• Good ability to use different software applications to carry out the role (PowerPoint, excel etc.).

• Full driving license and flexible to travel throughout the UK and overseas with overnight stays as required.
