The Role
The Company
A leading name in the supply of premium quality foodservice equipment solutions across all market sectors sold via a national distribution network. They are renowned for high quality innovative products along with complete service support.
The Role
In an exciting new development, they will be exclusively representing a globally successful warewashing brand to the UK market. The product will have full technical and marketing support and requires an ambitious sales professional with strong experience of warewash technology to drive the brand in the UK and establish this major new channel. The role will fall into two stages:
Stage 1

Devise and implement a UK sales strategy to launch and grow the brand, growing its reach and visibility.

Regular liaison with colleagues in marketing and service to update on what support is needed.

Create and deliver targeted marketing campaigns.

Regular visits and relationship-building with distributor clients to promote and support the brand.

Targeted approaches to key account operators to gain interest and specification.

Build up a diverse portfolio of buying customers, repeat business and healthy pipeline.
Stage 2

Based on your success in Stage 1, build the warewashing channel.

Devise and implement the medium-to-long-term sales strategy.

Recruit and lead a regional and key accounts sales team.

Continue to manage and grow a portfolio of your own national accounts.

Continue to plan and execute the ongoing marketing strategy.
The person
This is a rare opportunity with progression and support built-in, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Proven experience of selling commercial warewashing equipment along with sound technical knowledge of warewashing systems.

Proven experience of Key and National Account sales.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Organised and focused with the ability to plan and execute sales and marketing strategies, track results and adjust as necessary.

Ambitious and hardworking, this role will see you lay the groundwork (with the support of internal departments) and then go on to build and lead this significant business unit.

Flexible to travel nationally, staying away from home as the role requires.
