Our client is the leading supplier of a world-leading brand of specialist equipment sold to the Foodservice, Beverage, Hospitality sectors and more. They have an outstanding reputation for equipment quality, product expertise, customer service and aftersales support.

The business boasts a very low staff turnover, the culture is relaxed and supportive and offers uncapped commission with truly excellent earning potential.

The Role

This is a B2B sales role covering Scotland the North East and Northern Ireland. Sales are mainly directed through Catering Distributors. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and develop sales into the dealer, reseller and end-user markets across your area.

  • Manage and build excellent professional relationships with your clients, promoting all products within the range.

  • Launch and promote all new products that are added to the portfolio.

  • Manage and support and service issues raised by customers through the aftersales team to ensure that they are quickly resolved.

  • Regular and accurate database updates to ensure records are well-kept and maintained.

  • Identify and target opportunities for new business development on an ongoing basis.

 

The person

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, achieving sales growth through distributors

  • The ability to sell high-value equipment concepts and present a compelling proposition based on benefits and value delivered to the customer

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills -customers can rely on you for information, updates and support

  • Efficient journey planning to maximise the outcome of all visits and maintain a regular call cycle

  • Professional account management skills with the ability to grow sales through existing accounts through vertical and lateral account growth

  • Flexible approach -happy to support your colleagues in other business areas when needed

  • Strong closing skills and targeted customer visits.
