The Role

Due to continued success and expansion, we are looking for an excellent Key Account Manager to join the growing team and focus on the Pubs & Brewery Channel.

  • You will be responsible for targeting and securing new Key and National Account business (with the full understanding and support from the business that this can take anything up to 6-12 months to land).

  • You will also take on the ongoing management of some existing accounts and will be targeted to deliver growth on these.

  • Working with the corporate culinary team you will work with clients on menu planning and development as well as organising and running equipment demonstrations to showcase the products working with the clients’ menu offering.

  • Schedule product installations and support ongoing service delivery by scheduling ongoing maintenance and ensuring that any reactive maintenance requirements are delivered within your accounts.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and monitor ongoing industry patterns and trends, sharing market insights internally with global colleagues in marketing and product development.

  • Planning and attendance at trade shows and industry events.

  • Devise and implement key account sales strategy and budgets according to market sector, product and geographical region.

  • Map your potential client base, research and act on all potential sales opportunities.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships with a commitment to outstanding service delivery.

 

The Person​​

We are looking for an exceptional sales professional who is looking to grow their ongoing experience in Key Accounts and deliver high value new business through professional strategic sales techniques:

  • Proven experience of selling high value Foodservice or Beverage Equipment solutions.

  • The ability to engage new clients, ask the right questions and learn their operation, their customers, and their pain points, in order to present a compelling solution.

  • Experience of working with clients on menu development or equipment demonstrations would be beneficial.

  • Exposure to working with pub groups would be beneficial.

  • The ability to strategically map out your client landscape and implement a structured approach to winning new business and maintaining regular interactions with both existing and prospect accounts.

  • Able to continually conduct gap analysis within your market to maximise all sales opportunities.

  • Commitment to delivering outstanding client support in terms of technical aftersales and ongoing equipment training, menu development etc.

  • Flexibility to travel nationwide (and occasionally internationally), staying away from home as required.

  • Excellent communication skills with all external and internal stakeholders.
