The Role

The Company

Our client is a global market leader in the manufacture of a range of premium quality Foodservice Equipment solutions. The products are sold to all areas of the Foodservice and Hospitality industry, and the company has achieved long standing and established relationships with many of the UK's best known names in Retail and Forecourt operations.

The Role

  • You will inherit a long established and high performing portfolio of National Accounts consisting of the top tier ‘big box’ UK Retailers (focused on their customer and staff-feeding operations) as well as major UK forecourt brands.

  • You will be responsible for rapidly forging strong professional relationships with these customers and quickly establishing links with the key stakeholders within each account. 

  • Full research into hand-over information and data to gain full commercial insights into each account, gap analysis and ongoing National Account sales strategy. 

  • Working with the corporate culinary team you will work with clients on menu planning and development as well as organising and running equipment demonstrations to showcase the products working with the clients’ menu offering. 

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and monitor ongoing industry patterns and trends, sharing market insights internally with global colleagues in marketing and product development.

  • Planning and attendance at trade shows and industry events.

  • Devise and implement national account sales strategy and budgets according to market sector, product and geographical region.

  • Map your potential client base, research and act on all potential sales opportunities.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships with a commitment to outstanding service delivery. 

  • Continuous monitoring of and acting upon new national account business opportunities.
     

 

The Person

We are looking for an exceptional National Account sales professional with experience within the UK Retail and Forecourt Foodservice segments: 

  • Proven experience of selling high value Foodservice or Beverage Equipment solutions or similar. 

  • Seasoned experience of working with major UK Retail and Forecourt clients with a strong understanding of their various foodservice operations.

  • Experience of working with clients on menu development or equipment demonstrations would be beneficial. 

  • First rate commercial sales management of National Accounts with the ability to drive sales through vertical and lateral growth opportunities. 

  • The ability to strategically map out your client landscape and implement a structured approach to growing accounts, winning new business and maintaining regular interactions with both existing and prospect accounts. 

  • Able to continually conduct gap analysis within your market to maximise all sales opportunities. 

  • Commitment to delivering outstanding client support in terms of technical aftersales and ongoing equipment training, menu development etc. 

  • Flexibility to travel nationwide (and occasionally internationally), staying away from home as required. 

  • Excellent communication skills with all external and internal stakeholders.
