The Role

As a result of continued growth across the UK&I region, this is a new role to harness the opportunities for driving specification through consultants and design houses. 

​

  • Strategic mapping of the specification landscape across the UK&I region including Foodservice Consultants and major Design Houses.

  • Close tracking of tenders with these stakeholders to introduce and promote UNOX products and gain specification/supplier approval.

  • Equipment presentation/training to deliver a compelling benefit proposition and highlight the benefits and support that UNOX offer.

  • Identify and target new business opportunities across the HoReCa channel including stadia, restaurants, casual dining etc.

  • Working with and building relationships with consultant-specialist associations such as the FCSI, attending networking opportunities and tracking all relevant FCSI news and updates

  • Train and educate commercial kitchen designers on the UNOX product range, supporting design phases as required.

  • Close collaboration with the global team to track and target new global HoReCa openings.

  • Attendance at all relevant trade and Industry networking events, exhibitions, seminars etc. 

  • Host key customers and stakeholders at UNOX UK HQ and Global HQ in Italy to showcase the product range and capabilities, support training and build on professional relationships.

 

The Person

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated sales experience with a proven background of dealing with (or working for) Foodservice Consultants and/or leading Foodservice Design Houses.

  • Proven experience of Foodservice & Hospitality tenders; ideally will be familiar with Barbour ABI.

  • Solid technical understanding of commercial kitchen flow and design implications.

  • Experience of working with AutoCAD/DWG would be advantageous.

  • Excellent networking skills with the ability to open doors and dialogue with both new and existing customers.

  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to map out a sales landscape, maintain accurate records of new openings, refurbs, contract renewals, design phases etc. to ensure that you are in the right place at the right time to harness sales opportunities.

  • Strong presentation skills -able to present a compelling value proposition and persuade customers to a new/different point of view.

  • Capable of managing multiple sales projects at varying stages.

  • Flexible to travel nationally and internationally as required.

  • A passion for the Hospitality and Foodservice sector, keeps abreast of key industry news and trends.
