The Role

The Company

A globally recognised premium player within the professional foodservice equipment and commercial kitchen sector, they are manufacturers of advanced cooking and kitchen solutions to a wide range of foodservice operators across the UK.

The business is supported by experienced sales, technical and operational teams and is focused on innovation, performance and long-term customer relationships. It is part of a wider international group operating at scale within the foodservice equipment industry, offering strong backing, resources and opportunities for growth.

The Role

This is a varied and high-impact sales role with genuine autonomy and involvement. No two days are the same.

The role involves working closely with distributors, foodservice consultants, key accounts and end users, supporting projects from initial engagement through to product demonstration and final handover. Activities may include senior-level meetings, sales team training, live equipment demonstrations and full project support.

You will take ownership of developing and growing sales across a defined region, utilising a full portfolio of advanced cooking solutions. The role requires close collaboration with regional sales colleagues to maximise opportunities, strengthen relationships and expand market presence.

This position is focused on driving growth and developing long-term relationships — nurturing existing customers, introducing new products and opening doors with new operators as part of ongoing expansion plans.

Tasks include:

  • Growing sales across a defined region using the full product range

  • Building strong relationships with dealers, consultants and key accounts

  • Developing new business with targeted operators

  • Increasing penetration within existing accounts through additional product opportunities

  • Working collaboratively with regional sales colleagues to deliver shared growth objectives

  • Providing accurate weekly reports on sales activity, product performance and future opportunities

The Person

This role will suit someone who combines strong commercial skills with a genuine understanding of professional kitchens or foodservice operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An excellent communicator and relationship builder

  • Adaptable to customer needs and changing market conditions

  • A proactive self-starter who enjoys autonomy and ownership

  • A collaborative team player, comfortable working closely with regional colleagues

  • Confident presenting, demonstrating and influencing at all levels

  • Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • In possession of a full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel

  • Ideally experienced in sales within the foodservice or catering equipment sector

  • A culinary background is desirable but not essential
