The Role

The Company

A specialist contractor delivering high-quality turnkey commercial foodservice schemes within the hospitality sector across the UK. With a strong reputation for precision, efficiency, and delivering complex projects to a high standard, we focus on the installation of commercial kitchens and bar environments within larger construction projects. Their work is fast-paced, detail-driven, and requires a team that understands both technical delivery and on-site coordination.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of commercial kitchen and bar installations from initial site survey through to final handover and aftercare. This is a hands-on, site-led role requiring strong technical understanding and the ability to manage multiple moving parts within live project environments.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing full project lifecycle from survey to completion

  • Conducting detailed site surveys (measurements, access, services)

  • Coordinating M&E requirements (water, waste, electrics, ventilation)

  • Reviewing and signing off technical and manufacturing drawings

  • Managing procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors

  • Overseeing on-site installation, ensuring quality and programme adherence

  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Managing invoicing stages in line with project milestones

  • Driving projects through to successful handover and aftercare

 

 

This role is focused specifically on the installation of commercial kitchens and bars, requiring a specialist understanding of these environments.

The Person

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial kitchen and/or bar installations, confident working in fast-paced, site-based environments.

Key skills and experience:

  • Proven experience managing commercial kitchen and/or bar installation projects

  • Strong technical knowledge of:

o Kitchen layouts and workflows

o Bar design and operational requirements

o M&E coordination (electrical, gas, water, ventilation)

o Extraction systems and catering equipment integration

  • Ability to read and interpret technical and services drawings

  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, procurement, and cost control

  • Experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, and installation teams

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach

  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in live environments

 

Additional requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Willingness to travel nationwide

  • Flexible approach to working hours based on project demands
