The Role

A global market-leading manufacturer of refrigeration products sold in over 100 countries worldwide. Established for many decades, the business employs many thousands of staff globally and is recognised as a premium brand within professional refrigeration solutions.
Products are widely used across the Foodservice & Hospitality, Marine and Education sectors, with the brand recognised for innovation, build quality, sustainability and energy efficiency.
The UK operation includes headquarters in the South alongside manufacturing, innovation and showroom facilities elsewhere in the UK. Products are sold via a network of dedicated catering distributors.
The Role
We are looking to appoint an Account Manager to cover the East Midlands territory. This is a substantial area which requires excellent journey planning and diary management.
Tasks include (but are not limited to):
• Sales and promotion of the full product range to a network of Catering Distributors, including wholesalers and design houses;
• Establish strong professional relationships with distributor clients;
• Grow business through effective sales calls and increasing client awareness of current product promotions;
• Ensure that each sales call has a goal, both in terms of current activity and long-term pipeline;
• Daily and weekly communication with the National Sales Manager and other regional sales staff, sharing leads and offering support wherever possible;
• Monthly sales reporting;
• Share feedback from the territory on trends and challenges to support business marketing and strategic development.

Applicants should demonstrate the following:
• Proven sales success within a field sales environment;
• Experience selling Foodservice or Beverage Equipment to professional Foodservice clients and distributors;
• Excellent organisation and journey-planning skills with the ability to cover a large geographical territory;
• Must be located within the region;
• Flexible to travel extensively and stay away from home when required;
• Strong self-management skills with a strong work ethic and the ability to treat every call as a sales opportunity with clear goals to achieve;
• Personable, professional and tenacious;
• Passionate about the foodservice industry;
• Knowledge of the competitor landscape would be an advantage.
