The Role

The Company

Our client is a globally recognised brand synonymous with design, quality and innovation. They manufacture a range of Foodservice Equipment and Beverage systems which is sold to the professional foodservice channel via a network of distributors. The culture is professional, friendly and collaborative with a clear focus on customer support and service.

The Role

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing existing customer accounts within a defined sales region.

​

The role focuses on developing business within the professional and foodservice sectors, acting as a product specialist and preparing annual business development plans to support new customer acquisition and increased product distribution across the UK.

​

Key responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, closing, and processing business, while continuously monitoring performance against monthly, phased, and annual sales targets. The role requires maintaining regular personal contact with designated customers, identifying needs, and ensuring a high standard of account management.

​

You will work proactively to maximise sales and distribution opportunities, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and support brand positioning through professional conduct and representation.

​

Additional responsibilities include analysing market and competitor activity to support commercial intelligence, preparing and delivering product training sessions, adhering to internal systems and administrative processes, and attending relevant customer or industry events as required.

The Person​

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Appropriate sales and technical experience within the professional catering/beverage equipment or foodservice sector (essential)

  • Specialist knowledge within a technical or equipment-led product environment

  • Strong overall business and marketing awareness

  • Ability to identify, demonstrate, and apply technology solutions to customer applications

  • Good organisational and planning skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships

  • A motivated, proactive approach with strong problem-solving and negotiation capability

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
